on the ITB 2017

ITB Berlin – The leading trade fair for the International Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

Having had promising talks with well-known Hotel and Tourism Companies in Berlin from the 7th to 11th of March 2017. The Three new roompad products such as Alexa, the Cloud-Based Voice Service in the hotel room, the Multi-Hotel App with digital room key and the Check-In Terminal based on the Sprout by HP, with the modular Guest Journey platform, roompad is increasingly used in all relevant digital guest touchpoints.

For the 3rd successive year at ITB Berlin, it was a very positive event for us, says Marc Frauenholz, Managing Director of roompad GmbH, a preliminary conclusion. "As a hotel software producer, we had the opportunity to get in touch with the decision-makers from the hotel industry and tourism and were able to present our technological innovations." The fair also proved to be an optimal market research platform.

Above all, the overall feedback from the Industry was very positive. The check-in terminal with virtual room selection met with interest from the visitors. The growing Company is continuously investing in the systematic expansion of its 360° Guest Journey platform as well as in innovative software technologies. In particular, Amazon's new cloud-based language service, named Alexa, was launched by Amazon Echo.
